PRINCE2: An Established Industry Standard<\/h3>\n

In almost all of Australasia, the industry standard in Project Management frameworks is PeopleCert’s PRINCE2. The current version is version 7, as of September 2023. Full certification requires both Foundation and Practitioner (this page), which can be completed in two stages together or separately.<\/p>\n

Full PRINCE2 certification is a powerful addition for both new PM’s, and experienced PM’s who are upgrading their certifications and wider knowledge. If a PM already holds a full PRINCE2 Version 6 certificate, it is possible to skip the full five days and go straight to a two-day Version 7 Practitioner course.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/i>Hands-on workshops<\/h3>\n

All BCL courses are based on up to four realistic industry scenarios which represent typical Australasian current-day situations — including AI factors.<\/p>\n

These are in addition to the standard four PeopleCert course scenarios. Up to eight ways to contextualise PRINCE2 Project Management v7.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/i>Certification Level<\/h3>\n

The course is run under the authority of PeopleCert, the certification body.<\/p>\n

You will receive a PeopleCert membership, all learning materials, and access to the official PRINCE2 Exam. The official book is included.<\/p>\n

After the course you’ll sit the exam in your own time. On completing the exam (60 minutes, 60 questions, 60% pass mark), you’ll receive your Foundation certificate.\n\t<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/i>Course Delivery<\/h3>\n

The course is delivered both in-person and remotely, depending on each learner’s choice. Typically the room is made up of a mix of people in physical attendance and attendance via Teams.<\/p>\n

You instructor will be an extensively industry-experienced Project Manager, holding a variety of certifications. This allows great cross-examination of the practical application of frameworks and methods.<\/p>\n

Being part of a hybrid in-person and remote training group gives a great cross-section into the PM community, helps build networks, and offers even more real-world insights.<\/p>\n

Passing the exam can be a focus point for some. You’ll be taught how to analyse the questions and work through the syllabus for later self-study, plus you’ll sample some mock exam questions.\n<\/p><\/div>\n
